Frankly, got to tell you that Costa Maya, Mexico, was a bit of a disappointment. Not because of the location or the people who live there, but because of the fact that they were four major cruise ships ported there at one time. It was impossible to move around freely, especially with people stepping right in front of my scooter without paying attention to where they were going. We roamed around a little bit and then headed back to the ship.

The Radiant Queen Diane, poses by the back of the boat as we make our way down the pier.

Meanwhile, I am just a big boy posing by a big boat.

The Radiant Queen posed by the sign welcoming visitors to Costa Maya. And from there on, and it got terribly crowded, making it impossible to get decent pictures of anything other than the backs of people’s heads and their butts.

We did get this nice shot of some of the living lawn ornaments wandering around in the tourist trap area.
When we got back to the ship, we took some time to cool off in our air-conditioned cabin before trying to find someplace to get a smoke outside where we weren’t being baked by the sun. At 5:30 it was time to make our way to the Kaito Teppanyaki restaurant for dinner and a show.

I sampled a small war club of sake while the queen made short work of her sushi.

Like I said, it was dinner and a show. If you look carefully at the chef, and at the level of one of the wine glasses, directly across from me, you see the height to which he flipped a raw egg in the air.

It was a delicious dinner and a wonderful presentation, although the two young ladies sitting to the right of the woman, you see there in the corner seemed bored and less than impressed with the whole situation.
After dinner, it was back up to our deck 19 smoking area where Diane vaped and I scanned the horizon for Pirates.
Now to have a second cup of Nespresso while I wait for Diane to come down from her morning Vape/Coffee on the deck as we get set for the next day of our Tropical Adventure.
